How to reactivate?

The beads can be easily reactivated by placing them into the oven for 3 hours at 250°F. In some cases, they may take shorter than the recommended time for reactivation.

What raw materials are used?

The WiseTin Indicating Silica Gel Canister utilizes premium-quality indicating silica gel beads, which are non-toxic and free from cobalt chloride. Each bead measures 2 ~ 4 mm in size.

【Indicating Silica Gel Beads】: Wisesorb cobalt chloride-free orange indicating beads (2-4mm in size) are designed to change color within a humidity range of 20%-50%. Once saturated with moisture, the beads will complete the color change to LIGHT green. It’s important to note that the initial color change does not indicate full saturation. The beads will continue to absorb moisture until reaching 50%RH. We recommend periodically checking the silica gel beads to ensure their effectiveness.
【Transparent Window & Easy Reactivation】: With the transparent window, you can easily monitor the color of the silica gel. If it turns from orange to light green, it indicates that the environmental relative humidity is above 50%. To reactivate the reusable silica gel canister desiccant dehumidifier, simply place it in the oven for 0.5 to 3 hours at 200°F to 250°F (avoid exceeding 250°F). The actual reactivation time may be shorter depending on the condition of the silica gel beads.
