And this SHEGLAM Like magic hydrating concealer is not an exception.
So I noticed it's a little lighter than I thought it was going to be.
Which is hard to guesstimate products that are used in Ai or computer generated photos, which isn't bad or anything, just a teeny bit lighter than it looked.
Although I do use a few shades lighter than my own complexion in concealers usually to brighten and lift some areas of my face when using makeup.
This works perfect for that!
So, I immediately added it to my hand and my hand is a bit darker than my face. Let's be real probably all of ours are a bit darker than our faces, but … That being said in one of my photos it'll show it's much lighter is all I'm saying that for.
It blends ultra well. Honestly it probably is one of the top 4/5 of my favorites in concealers. And it even beats out another very popular brand of born this way concealer for me. Just because it actually does evaporate some while blending and which for me that allows it to blend better instead of becoming some wet non drying mess of a concealer.
This is a really good one. I like it a lot . And works well for highlights. Not shimmer. Just lightening up an area you'd like to be lighter.
It conceals rather well, and you can build with it too.
So when you put your first little bit on. It's I would say a medium coverage, but does allow you to build without looking heavy, it's nice and natural looking.
All in all it's a great bargain and value for what you're paying for this. Excellent choice id say. I most definitely would get this again And definitely recommend it.
SHEGLAM is almost always on top of their game with beauty products . I've tried many products of this brand and I've only found one I didn't particularly care for. But it wasn't a bad product at all. It still was good.
If you need a good concealer And don't want to break the bank getting it.

If you have a hard time finding concealers that are actually pink or cool toned, I highly recommend the shade Pink Pearl. It’s exactly as advertised and perfect as either a cool toned concealer or color corrector. The shade is a little light on me, but works really well to brighten areas of my face like my undereyes. The formula is a little drying but not too bad if applied lightly. It might be better for people without dry or mature skin. Overall, it’s a really great find at a budget friendly price.

Can't say enough great things about the SHEGLAM brand. Every product I have tried from this company has either been very good or exceptional. The Like Magic Hydrating Concealer falls in the "exceptional" category for me.
I am 59 and struggle endlessly with finding a concealer that actually does what it's supposed to do – brighten and hide the imperfections without settling into the fine lines and creases (especially under my eyes). Well, this one is just about perfect.
I have very fair skin and the color I chose (Linen) is a very close match. It looked alarming when I first put it on. It was so much lighter than my skin, but as I worked it in, it blended perfectly. It left a natural, supple, finish and I had no issues with layering my foundation over it.
I would not say this is ultra hydrating, but it is not drying either. It contains squalene and hyaluronic acid, so it goes on smoothly, and caffeine which helps depuff a bit under the eyes.
Like Magic is kinda like magic for me! The results are the best I've been able to achieve with a liquid concealer (at least in my mature years). It’s a keeper. And, like the rest of their line, the price is right, so you can't not afford to try it!

What I love most about the Magic Hydrating Concealer is how creamy it is. As someone with very dry skin, it feels moisturizing and isn't drying at all. I find that it's also forgiving on more mature skin as well, a little bit goes a very long way and it remains easy to work with throughout application. You don't have to rush to work with it fearing it would 'set' too quickly.
I use it for spot concealing as well as for correcting darkness in the under-eye area. The Golden color is a nice match for me, and sometimes I apply enough of it that I'm basically using it as a CC cream. It leaves a very dewy and moisturized finish that looks natural. It holds up nicely for quite a few hours, but I've found that it definitely needs to be set with powder. If I don't set it, it will crease and pull into lines throughout the day.
I think this concealer is exceptional, especially for its $8 price point. It feels weightless and covers my dark circles and blemishes without feeling heavy or cakey. Since it's fragrance free and contains squalane, it feels gentle and comfortable enough for everyday wear. I'm very happy with how it performs as long as I remember that light dusting of powder to set it and keep it in place.
